New SEC chairman joined to rearrange the Securities and Exchange Commission of Bangladesh. Ziaul Haque Khondker has been replaced with M Khairul Hossain.
After joining, Khairul Hossain said that he will try to take the share market in a stable position. He is a professor of Finance Department, Dhaka University.
Because of unexpected behavior of the share market during the last few months, a seven member’s investigation team was created and the team suggested restructuring the SEC. Last week, two SEC members were replaced also.
