HSC result 2011 Bangladesh – how to get HSC result

HSC result 2011 has been published. Update added at the end.

HSC result 2011 will be published today. Education Boards Bangladesh will publish all 10 boards’ HSC results including Madrasah and Technical. The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination has been started from 5^th April, 2011 and finished on 31^st May, and the Education Board is publishing the HSC result within two months. Students can collect their results from their own colleges or from Education Board’s website.

This year, total 779,441 students attained in this HSC examination. Under General Boards, total attained 629,619 students, and there were 330,012 males and 299,607 females of them. 76,957 students attained under Madrasah Board in Alim examination. Under Technical Board there were 68,961 students and under Diploma in Business Studies 3,904 students attained.

Today at 12 pm, all Education Boards Chairmen will hand over their board’s HSC results to the Prime Minister. And then Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will formally publish the details about the HSC results to a press conference. Results will be available for students after 12 pm.

Education Boards Bangladesh started a new system (e-mail) for all education institutes. Institutes have to collect the HSC result 2011 by web-mail. Education Boards created separated e-mail id for all institutes and results will be sent to their e-mails.

How to get HSC result 2011

Students have to collect results from their own institutes after 12.00 pm. There are some another options to get the HSC result. They are-

From Education Board website: Students can see their HSC 2011 results from the result publication website of the Education Boards Bangladesh. They will publish results after 1.00 pm.

Just go to the below link, Select your board, write your roll number, and click ‘submit’. You will get your average grade and average grade point (GPA) today, detail results will be published one day later.

The website may slow due to high traffic and it will not normal before evening. I am surprised why they don’t upgrade their server!

This is another option to get the HSC result 2011. To get the result write 1st 3 digits of your board, <space>, and roll number and send the SMS to 16222. Details – suppose your board is Rajshahi and your roll number is 300001. Then the SMS will like –

Update:

Today at 12.30 pm Education Minister formally announced for publishing HSC result 2011 Bangladesh. The pass rate of this year is 75.08 percent which is .08 percent higher than previous year. This year total 39,769 students gained GPA 5. GPA 5 achievers increased 10,775 than the previous year.

Top 10 institutes of Dhaka Board –

New ranking system is started from this year. This ranking is based on 5 criteria of an institute, they are, number of students registered for the HSC examination, number of students attained the examination, pass rate, number of GPA-5 achievers, and the institute’s average GPA-5.

Rajuk Uttara Model College has been selected first with 94.64 rank points, 2^nd – Mymensingh Girls’ Cadet College with 89.38 points, 3^rd – Mirzapur Cadet College with 88.72 points, 4^th – Viqarunnesa Noon School & College with 88.51 points, 5^th – Notre Dame College with 86.77 points, 6^th – Dhaka City College with 85.83 points, 7^th – Abdul Kader Mollah City College in Narsingdhi with 85.21 points, 8^th – Holy Cross College with 85.15 points, 9^th – Residential Model College with 85.05 points, and 10^th – Shamsul Haque Khan School and College with 84.44 points.
