Bangladesh wins two in a Row vs. Ireland

Bangladesh cricket teams’ Ireland tour is going to be a grand

Mahmudullah on full swing !

one as Bangladesh has already won the first two matches. The first one is a big victory and the last one is a thrilling one. And these two wins in a row confirmed the series victory with one match in hand which is to be played today.

Match of the last night was a breathtaking one. Bangladesh was near to lose the match but this time hero is Mahmudullah Riad who brought out the math by his nice spell of bowling. Sunny the hero of the first match with the record breaking five-for, produced yet another spell of excellent spin bowling taking two wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs, but in conclusion it was the vice captain Riad who acted calmly in the tense finish of the match, a vital component in the tigers defense of 146-6 in 20 overs.

Therefore, Bangladesh is now the series winner and the outcome of it is tigers have entered into the ICC T20 rankings as the ninth rank side, replacing Ireland. Consistency is the main thing I am observing here in this series. In the last tour of Zimbabwe Bangladesh played well and in this tour already you have seen their performance, which is very optimistic for the upcoming T20 world cup

Another thing I noticed and that is the form of the players. Most of the players are in form. Ashraful after a long time is in form though his style is still not up to the level of T20 but hope before the world cup he will reach that level. Zia is in superb form and a real one for T20 format and sunny is showing his strength in spin as well. And Shakib, Riad, Mushfiq, Mashrafi is in their best of forms right now.

So no doubt, Bangladesh cricket teams’ tour to Europe is an advantageous one, the experience of which will facilitate in the T20 world cup and hope Tigers will show incredible performance in world cup.
