A Request to the Bangladesh Government: Allow the Innocent Muslims of Myanmar to Come In

I think everybody has already known about the riot between the Muslims and Buddhists in Myanmar. 200 Rohingyas have been killed and 30 villages burnt including five mosques in Maungdaw, Northern Arakan of Burma. It is a matter to be ashamed of that in spite of being a Muslim country; the Bangladesh government is not willing to support these blameless Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar.

I am ashamed of being such a Muslim who is unable to do something for his brothers of Myanmar who have been attacked by the Buddhists of that country. i feel sorry when I hear about Dipumoni saying “It is not in the best of our interests that refugees from Myanmar enter the country again.” When it is mandatory to help them, she is saying that the government is holding talks with Myanmar for returning the Rohingyas. How funny!!!

A state of emergency has been declared in the Western Rakhain state. People are trying to escape from Myanmar  and about five hundred and four rohingyas including males and females tried to enter Bangladesh but they had been stopped by the border watchdog ,border guard Bangladesh. At least six boats filled with Myanmar rohingyas stopped by them. Even The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) called on the Bangladesh government on Tuesday to let the Myanmar refugees enter the country who are fleeing sectarian violence in their country.

First of all as a Muslim and a citizen of the Muslim country Bangladesh I am requesting the Bangladesh government to think again and again about this step of not allowing the Muslims of Myanmar to enter. It is obligatory on us to help them. I also hassle all the Muslims over the country to unite against this decision of the government and help the Muslims of Myanmar if there is any possible way.

    Dear Riad,
It is very unfortunate that Buddhist fundamentalists of Myanmar are doing such inhuman things on Muslims there. Your concern is just. But, your words “……First of all as a Muslim and a citizen of the Muslim country Bangladesh I am requesting the Bangladesh government to think again and again about this step of not allowing the Muslims of Myanmar to enter…..” speaks that if you were not a Muslim from a Muslim country, you possibly would not have bothered. I simply say: Down with all religions.

Very Sad news. We should support the victims not only for religion but also for humanities.
